30-Day Return Policy
We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you decide an item is not the right fit, you may return it within 30 days of receiving your order. To begin a return, please email info@alignedplay.com with your order number, and our team will provide instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective, damaged during shipping, or incorrect.
Some products are final sale due to size, customization, or vendor restrictions. Any such limitations will always be noted on the product page.
Condition of Returned Items
Returned items must arrive at our distribution center in “Like New” condition with all original packaging, hardware, manuals, and accessories. “Like New” means the product shows no signs of wear, damage, assembly, or use.
Items that arrive damaged, show wear, or are missing components will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued. Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval at our warehouse, and you will receive email confirmation once your refund has been completed.
All returns must be authorized before being shipped back. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed.
Damage Claims & Inspection Requirements
All damage or missing-item claims must follow the inspection requirements outlined in our Shipping Policy.
Visible Damage:
If a box appears crushed, torn, punctured, or severely damaged, you must report this at the time of delivery before signing the carrier’s paperwork. If necessary, refuse the shipment and make a notation on the Bill of Lading. Contact us immediately so we can assist.
Concealed Damage:
If damage is discovered after opening the box, it must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims must include photos of the damaged item, the packaging, the internal protective materials, and the shipping label. Claims submitted after 48 hours cannot be covered due to freight carrier rules.
Damage reported after assembly is not eligible for replacement or refund.
Damaged vs. Defective Items
“Damaged” refers to issues that occur during shipping, such as crushed boxes, broken parts, or visible impact.
“Defective” refers to items that do not function properly but show no signs of shipping damage.
Accurately identifying whether an item is damaged or defective ensures the correct resolution.
If a replacement item or part is issued, AlignedPlay reserves the right to request the return of the damaged or defective item. Failure to return the item when requested may result in charges for the replacement.
Items damaged during assembly or through later use are not considered damaged or defective and are not eligible for return or replacement.
Cancellations
Orders canceled before shipment will receive a full refund.
Orders canceled after shipment will follow our 30-Day Return Policy and will be subject to return shipping costs.
Once an order is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. Lost or stolen packages after delivery are not eligible for refund or replacement.
Non-Returnable Items
Some products cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
– Items marked final sale, used, or certified pre-owned
– Custom orders or personalized products - all swing sets and playhouses are made to order and considered "custom".
– Items designated as non-returnable on the product page
AlignedPlay sells products intended for long-term, personal use. Orders placed for temporary or event-based use—including trade shows, conferences, promotional displays, or short-term installations—are not eligible for return.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved. Once approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
